I know this has been said every year for the past few years but 2016 really is the year of social video. It’s totally revolutionised the way we do social media and it’s our view that this trend is only set to get bigger in 2017.

So why is social video so powerful? Simply put it’s storytelling through video. How else can a brand get over the whole background and ethos in such a succinct way? Video also has the power to stir emotions that the written word or images can’t – this emotion then motivates the watcher to action, whether that be to purchase your product or service or just share your video on their timeline.
